薬師堂キャンパスでは、9月23日から30日にかけてグローバルウィークが開催されています。
例年は、展示やクイズを行う他、外国人講師の方をお招きして、各HRを訪問・自国の文化についてなどを話して回ってくれたり、cooking教室があったりと異文化体験をできる習慣になっています。今年はコロナ禍のため、展示やクイズのみですが、少しでも異文化・異国体験をできるように実施しています。その中で、今日は階段企画についてご紹介します。今年の階段企画は、おすすめの国についてです。いつかコロナが落ち着いたら、自分で足を運んで体験してほしい場所ばかりです！
At Yakushido campus we are holding ‘Global Week’ from 23rd~30th September. Usually, every year, in addition to putting up displays and holding a quiz, we invite foreign lecturers to our homeroom classes to tell us about their own country, and we host activities such as cooking workshops, creating an opportunity for students to experience overseas culture first-hand. This year, due to Coronavirus, we are only able to prepare displays and a quiz, but we hope that by holding the event we can enable students to get a feel for foreign cultures and different countries, even if only a little. With this aim in mind, let us today – the first day of Global Week – introduce the display on the main staircases. This year, we have decorated the staircases with information about countries around the world that we recommend you to visit. There are so many places that we would love you to experience in person one day – once the risks of Coronavirus have subsided of course!
